Made in France by La Rochere, the oldest continuous glass factory in Europe. La Rochere has been making glass continuously since 1475. La Rochere strives to preserve traditional glass expertise while developoing new manufacturing processes. La Rochere has enhanced its techniques in machine glass as well as mouth-blown glass. Its collections bring to light this unique heritage, with new editions from the 18th and 19th centuries as well as developing contemporaty creations. This mouth blown collection known as "Romantique" is an exact reproduction of a blue and amber collection created in 1830 which Frederic Chopin gave to George Sand as a gift. La Rochere is the only company authorized to make this museum reproduction product. Each piece is mouth blown by two glass masters, each other either the blue or amber color adn then brought together. This is a true piece of art history from la Rochere. Set includes six 1 ounce liquor shot glasses.
